Food Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production & Operations Manager to oversee the setup and management of a small-scale manufacturing facility for packaged food products. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of food processing, machinery selection, and production optimization. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement efficient production processes for manufacturing high-quality packaged products. • Oversee equipment selection, installation, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations. • Develop and enforce quality control standards to meet industry regulations. • Manage inventory, sourcing of raw materials, and cost optimization. • Train and supervise production staff, ensuring adherence to best practices. • Collaborate with R&D teams to refine and improve product formulations. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or production management. • Strong knowledge of automation, packaging machinery, and food preservation techniques. • Ability to optimize production efficiency while maintaining product integrity. • Familiarity with local and international food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, FDA, etc.). • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
