History of reading in Kuwait

In Kuwaiti culture, reading and books are very important. They show how much people value learning and knowledge. Throughout Kuwait’s history, it has been a place where different ideas and cultures come together. Kuwait International Book Fair

The first time this exhibition was held was on November 1, 1975. It’s known as the Kuwait Book Fair. Government groups and book companies from Kuwait and other Arab countries took part. Each year since then, the exhibition has been a big event for Kuwait’s culture.

It’s the biggest cultural event put on by the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Literature every year. Lots of people come to see it. It’s a place where writers, bookmakers, and readers can meet and share ideas.

There’s also a special area just for kids, with books made for them. And there’s a spot called the children’s culture monitoring pavilion where kids can do fun activities like workshops and storytelling.
